How Does TRMS Work
To order TV service, the patient simply dials a local extension number from the in-room telephone and is guided through the ordering process. TeleHealth’s call center is available for patients needing assistance.
Once the patient has entered the service order, this information is transmitted to the EAS Control Unit, which then sends the patient TV status information to the RCM. The requested TV service then appears on the patient’s TV screen within seconds of ordering.
TRMS allows patients to order television and/or telephone service any time, day or night, without an attendant or assistance from hospital staff. With the ADT interface, patient room transfers and all service billing functions are automatic.
