Web-based Management
The TIGR system administration interface is web-based, meaning the system can be managed from anywhere within the hospital network using a PC workstation with the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser.
An easy-to-follow interface is provided, associating colorful graphic icons with the most common tasks.
Each page provides quick links, enabling the user to navigate through the many features available in the system. Browsing through videos, tests, points-of-care, video schedules and more has never been easier. Authorized personnel can access TIGR from any networked PC to:
- Select videos for patients who require assistance
- Run usage reports by patient or unit for Joint Commission requirements
- Document patient comprehension of video content
- Create customized messages
- Create customized surveys and exams
- Send service response alerts via email or printer
- Several levels of secure access are available for each administrator or staff user, ensuring that the configuration of the system is protected against inadvertent changes. Granting user-level access to a nurse or administrator will enable the person to view video usage reports on a detailed or aggregate level for a single patient, a point-of-care or the entire hospital. The manager-level access allows a person to manage schedule-play channels, marquees, video and test content, while granting administrator-access enables an individual to fully manage the TIGR system.
TIGR’s web-based management tools make system use easy for hospital personnel, freeing them to focus on patient care and daily tasks. For more information about implementing TIGR in your hospital, email TeleHealth Services or call 800-733-8610. See what TIGR can do for your education initiatives!
