Austin Business Journal: An Interactive Hospital Stay:

Who says just because you’re in the hospital the experience has to be boring?

Cedar Park Regional Medical Center has partnered with Raleigh, N.C.-based TeleHealth Services to provide a customized interactive in-room education and entertainment system in 56 of its patient rooms.

The system includes 26-inch flat panel televisions that will come loaded with interactive tools, including on-demand patient educational videos; access to hospital services like meal selections and concierge services; access to email; expanded lineup of television channels and movies and access to online video games.

Cedar Park Regional Medical Center opened in December 2007 and it a joint venture between the Seton Family of Hospitals and Community Health Systems.
